28^th June, 2019, Yerevan: Beeline and the American University of Armenia (AUA) announce of their cooperation. Data Science Summer School will launch in Armenia for the first time.

 It will provide participants with a unique opportunity to explore the basics and methods of data science through a series of courses that develop thinking. Armenian and international leading experts are going to hold lectures in the summer school.

 Dean of the Faculty of Natural Science and Engineering of AUA Aram Hadjyan stressed the importance of the development of the sphere: “This summer school is an excellent opportunity, the purpose of which is to bring together local and international experts to show that Armenia is a rough diamond in data science.”

 “Our company contributes to the extent possible to the technological development of Armenia, and, in our opinion, the most promising option is to train young people. I am sure that the participants of this summer school will not only be able to find a decent job in the future, but they will also promote their country in the field of technology,” said Beeline Armenia CEO Andrey Pyatakhin. 

 Serob Serob, Operations Manager of Webb Fontaine, another project partner, presented the capabilities and perspectives of data science, as well as its areas of application.

 Classes will be held from the 1^st to the 14^th of July. Students will gain practical skills in the field of data science, learn the Python programming language, the basics of machine learning, the mechanisms of human speech recognition by computer, and get other advanced knowledge in the field of data science. The program is designed for IT sector employees and students.
