Beeline celebrates the World Telecommunication Day
May 7, 2019, Yerevan. Today, Beeline is celebrating the World Telecommunication Day. The Company held a ceremony to award the employees from Technology function having substantial contribution in the evolvement of the company’s infrastructure.
Andrey Pyatakhin, Chief Executive Officer of Beeline Armenia congratulated the winner of the “Communications Operator of the Year” award Vahram Mnatsakanyan, senior expert of network construction and projects implementation, who received the award for his merits and personal substantial contribution in network enhancement. Another collective award for the delivery of substantial projects was granted to around 20 employees from technological function of Beeline.
Additionally, a photo booth consummated in the style of the celebration day, was mounted at the ground floor of the Beeline administrative premises at the address of 24/1 for anyone willing to take photos.

May 7 came to be seen as the Birthday of the Radio. On this day in 1895 the physical scientist Alexander Popov demonstrated the first radio receiver set in the world made by him and performed the first ever radio communication session. Today this day is celebrated as the professional holiday of people employed in all communication industries.
