21 February, 2018, Yerevan: Within the framework of the StartHub project, implemented jointly by Beeline and the Technological Development Center Foundation, a StartHub Offline regular  meeting-discussion was held: StartHub Offline is a set of events during which startup representatives hold discussions with IT sector leading representatives.

The title of this meeting was "Armenian Start-up Ecosystem", and the speakers were Director of Enterprise Incubator Foundation Bagrat Yengibaryan and Beeline CEO Andrey Pyatakhin.

Participants talked about the path covered and the future programs of the Enterprise Incubator Foundation during the meeting. Bagrat Yengibaryan also talked about existing benefits and gaps of the Armenian startup ecosystem, cooperation with the country, support for knowledgeable start-ups and development of regional programs. In his turn, Andrey Pyatakhin presented Beeline programs aimed at supporting startups and prospects for possible cooperation with the telecommunications industry. 

“We had a very interesting meeting today. It was quite important and, of course, interesting to listen to someone like Bagrat Yengibaryan, who had been at the base of the Armenian startup ecosystem creation. The successful progress of Beeline programs is also satisfying, and it is nice to follow the importance Andrey Pyatakhin assigns to them”, - said the Chairman of the Council of Technological Development Center Foundation Samvel Chakhalyan.

“Much success has been reached in IT sector of Armenia, which is due to private and public sectors cooperation, development of grant programs in the sector, as well as to the creation and development of relevant ecosystems by large companies. 100 Armenian startups in the industry of high technologies develop in Armenia each year now, and 80% of them continue to work in 2-3 years and do not close. Currently it is important to focus on the regions and introduce there the experience obtained in the sphere," – said Enterprise Incubator Foundation director Bagrat Yengibaryan.

"We are happy to be part of and support the development of the Armenian ecosystem from inside. We have been working closely with startups and experts of the field for several years. Meetings in Starthub Offline format allow us better understand existing problems and propose certain solutions. In addition, we have launched our own incubator, which helps startups gain necessary knowledge to be able to turn good ideas into working business projects," - said Beeline Armenia CEO Andrey Pyatakhin.
