The best PR managers of Armenia will be awarded for the third time

3 December, 2018, Yerevan: This year, the Armenian PR-awards will be held for the third time on the initiative of the scientific-informational and public organization “Armenian PR Association” with the support of The Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) and Beeline Armenia.

The PR-awards is based on research and independent experts’ opinions. In the course of research, surveys were conducted with target groups (PR experts, media representatives), the work of departments and state, political and public figures was monitored, and the best programs and activities implemented in Public Relations in Armenia were collected.

“Research shows that Public Relations in Armenia is valued both by professionals and governing bodies of public, political and private spheres. PR-awards definitely contribute to it, and targeted research in this direction traces the existing developments and predicts the upcoming processes. Everything can be destroyed in an instant, but establishing mutual trust and building reputation require long, planned painstaking work. The Armenian PR-awards is the only platform where, based on scientific research, PR professionals’ work is assessed,” said Armenian PR Association Chairman, YSU Journalism Department Associate Professor, Candidate of Philology Astghik Avetisyan.

This year two more nominations: Woman of the Year and Diaspora media were added to traditional nominations, which are: Press Secretary of the Year, PR Event of the Year, Image PR of the Year, Public Figure of the Year, Political Figure of the Year, Best PR in Culture field, Media of the Year, State Structure of the Year, Crisis Management of the Year, Best PR Initiative of the Year, Financial PR of the year, Armenian brand, Innovative PR and PR technology, thus turning the PR-awards into a pan-Armenian event.

“The General Benevolent Union of Armenia cooperates with the Armenian PR Association to highlight the importance of transparent and responsible public relations. Our goal is to encourage awareness and more active participation of citizens, simultaneously motivating a dialogue between Armenia and the Diaspora. We offered two special nominations for this year's PR-awards: “Woman of the Year” and “Diaspora Media”, which will certainly be awarded to the right candidates, selected by the Association based on the research and monitoring conducted during one year,” said the Director of the General Benevolent Union of Armenia Talar Kazanjyan.

Beeline supported this award from the very first day, knowing full well how important it is to properly organize public feedback. Specialists, who work daily to ensure the transparency of their organizations activities and provide accurate information to the public, should be appreciated and be aware of that,” said Beeline Armenia CEO Andrey Pyatakhin.
