Key responsibilities:

• Lead the technical development and maintenance of our fiber network geo-visualization tool.
• Oversee and mentor a team of developers, ensuring high-quality code and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Implement and manage backend services using Node.js and Java.
• Develop and maintain the frontend of the application using React.
• Utilize Neo4j for graph database requirements and Kafka for data streaming and asynchronous communication.
• Ensure the application is scalable, reliable, and secure.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and foster a collaborative development environment.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve the application.

Required qualifications:

• Extensive experience in backend development using Node.js and Java.
• Strong proficiency in frontend development using React.
• Hands-on experience with Neo4j for managing complex data relationships.
• Knowledge of Kafka for data streaming and event-driven architectures.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide a development team.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A deep understanding of software development best practices and design patterns.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the telecom industry, specifically with fiber network planning and visualization tools.
• Familiarity with GIS (Geographical Information Systems) and spatial data.
• Knowledge of cloud-based architectures and deployment strategies.
